13 Ways to Prepare For a R.A.A.H Reiki and/or A.U.R.A Session
R.A.A.H Reiki and A.U.R.A. Hypnosis Healing Session: Preparation Guide
Please read thoroughly prior to your session. If your session is online, kindly email your questions no later than the session date.
1. Session Overview & Setting

Reiki Sessions last approximately 1-1 1/2 hours and Hypnosis Sessions are approximately 4–5 hours and are scheduled on CST (USA) time zone.

Please be alone during your session for optimal relaxation and connection. However, pets (dogs/cats) are energetically supportive and encouraged to remain near.

It is strongly recommended to take the entire day of the session off, and if possible, the day after, to allow for integration and self-healing.

For online sessions, you must be in a private home (not a hotel). If your home is unavailable, a private Airbnb is acceptable.
2. Technology Requirements

A headset with a microphone is required. Recommended: Apple headphones, gaming headset, or Insignia Headset from Best Buy (~$19.99).

A stable Wi-Fi connection and a fully charged device (laptop or phone) are necessary for uninterrupted Zoom access.

Download and test Zoom prior to your session (camera/microphone settings).

The session will be video recorded and shared with you the same day.
3. Post-Session Considerations

Avoid driving for at least 3 hours after your session to allow integration of energy shifts. Physical symptoms may include: fatigue, sleepiness, vomiting, diarrhea, or downloads.

If in-person, arrange transportation via taxi, rideshare, or a friend.
4. Crystals
Please have the following crystals nearby: Selenite and one of the following: Black Tourmaline, Black Obsidian, or Shungite
These assist in grounding and energetic support.
5. Set Your Intent
Clearly identify your reason for the session. Common areas of focus include:

6. Prepare Your Questions-(Hypnosis Session Only)

Compile up to 15 questions in advance. Feel free to write as many as you'd like, then refine and combine similar ones.

Email your questions prior to the session if online; for in-person sessions, bring them in written form.
7. Connection to the Higher Self
Begin practicing by stating daily, aloud and internally:
“I have clear and direct communication with my Higher Self.”
This strengthens the energetic bond and opens intuitive pathways.
8. Surrender the Ego
If your ego interferes, lovingly ask it to step aside. Visualize it as a child—hug it, reassure it, and say:
“Thank you for protecting me. For this moment, please allow me to heal us for our highest good.”
Visualize yourself as a leaf on a river, trusting the Higher Self to carry you where you need to go.
9. Hydrate with Intention
Drink plenty of water—the conduit for consciousness and healing. With each glass, affirm:
“I release all that no longer serves my highest good.”
You may be guided to use the restroom during the session, and your Higher Self will maintain the hypnosis state.
10. Release Expectations
Each session is uniquely tailored to your soul. Let go of preconceived ideas. Whether you feel fully conscious or deeply in trance, you are in a Theta brainwave state—similar to daydreaming, driving, or meditating.

Avoid caffeine the day of your session (or limit intake).

Do not use recreational drugs for at least one week prior, as they inhibit connection with the Higher Self.

Eat a light meal or snack before your session.

If in person, bring water and a snack for after.

Dress in comfortable, white or light-colored, loose-fitting clothes. Avoid heavy makeup or jewelry. Tears are welcome as part of the healing process.

Tune into the Frequency of Wonder by softly asking yourself:
“I wonder what I’ll see if I look left… I wonder what I’ll know if I look right…”
Information may come through images, sounds, feelings, emotions, or sudden knowing.
15. Energetic Protection
From the moment you book your session, begin surrounding yourself daily with Source Love-Light energy—morning and night.
Visualize yourself within a pyramid of golden light or Merkabah, invoking the presence of your Higher Self and Source. This raises your vibration and protects your energetic field.
